A.M. Filiatreault is a self-taught illustrator who took a year in college to try the Fine Arts program before realising it wasn't for her. She's fluent in sarcasm and using black humour.
From a young age she has been fascinated by how cultures view death, the folklore surrounding the macabre and dark, the occult, and those cute l'il cryptids. She hopes to one day see West Virginia and where Mothman reportedly goes stomping about.
When not drawing, she's usually outside mushroom hunting, reading a book on mycology or thanatology, or going for long walks in Toronto. She prefers her coffee black with almond milk and always brings a book wherever she goes.
